Think it's time for a diet?
I pulled out my Enchi girl for a bit and noticed how thick she's getting. I've been keeping her on a 7 day feeding schedule and she's only missed a couple meals in the less than 2 years I've had her. She's up to about 1700g empty now. With how round she's getting im thinking about bumping her back to a medium rat every two weeks. The average size of ugh tats has been 100-120g. Though I've got some 150g ones coming up once she finished ye smaller.
I've bred her a few times, but she's shown no good signs of follicle production and she's still eating like a pig. So I doubt her girth is from growing eggs, though I'm hoping.
Think it's time to cut her back? Or keep letting her eat weekly as long as she will.
Btw, she is holding onto about 3 weeks worth of food in the picture.
Thanks,
Kyle

Nice enchi. She looks fine to me. She will most likely go on a protracted food strike at some point. I say keep doing what you are doing if you intend for her lay.

I wouldn't cut her back since you've been pairing her. If she hadn't been bred then a two week schedule will be fine.
Besides, she may decide on her own to go on a diet for several months.
