No more Native Earth from PetFoodDirect?
I went to check on my autoship today since I'm getting low on rodent block and it's disappeared. I can't find it anywhere on the site and I'm afraid they've stopped carrying it. They have Oxbow, but I'm not too thrilled with the idea of paying a couple bucks more for about half the food. Does anyone know where else I can get a big ol' 40lb bag of 18% Native Earth rodent diet?

I'm not sure about native earth, but check with your local feed store and see if they can get any rodent food. I get mazuri from mine.

They don't carry it anymore as far as I can tell. Neither do the few other sources that up till now had it. I've finally given up looking and ordered a bunch of Mazuri through a local feed store. If anybody does find some Harlan/native earth, please let us all know!

Yeah, I ended up ordering from a local store as well. The brand is "Kruse's Perfection". It's similar nutritionally, only off by a percentage point here and there, but it smells worse. So they smell worse. Especially the mice.
On the other hand, my rodents love it and I think the babies are growing a bit faster. I'm entirely not sure, they've only been on it for a week or so. The feed & pet store I got it from feeds it to their rodents and they're all big and healthy. So I'm going to try it out for awhile and see how it goes. There are other feed stores I can look at if I decide I can't stand the smell.
