    help my snakes foaming

Your ball python will need a work up from a qualified reptile veterinarian experienced in treating reptiles.

A prescription for anti-biotics will clear things up in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime you will need to boost your enclosure temperatures. It’s most likely that you’re snake got a URI from being too cool. I prefer a cool side of around 84 degrees with a hot spot set at 94 for all of my ball pythons.

You may get a lot of advice over the internet telling you that all you need to do is crank your temps up really high and “cook” the URI out of your snake. While it’s true that I’ve seen this type of treatment work in the past, it is by no means reliable. Your snake will have a much better chance of recovery if seen by a vet ASAP.

    Hope this helps.

A reptile vet is definitely the way to go. They will be able set you straight with a treatment of antibiotics. Question: did you get your bp with RI, or was it something he contracted in your care? If it was something that has happened since you got him, you might want to look into your husbandry.

edit: moving to the appropriate forum.

Agreed with all of the above, with a note that it's very important that you measure your temps accurately. The analog dials sold by petstores are virtually useless except as decoration, and digital thermometers can be had for under $20.
