Weird question

I have had snakes for a long time. I was out of the hobby for years, and now back into it for the past few years. I have one snake that mystifies me. This is a normal sub adult female my daughter won in a charity raffle. The breeder said she was super calm and mellow. Well when my daughter handles her there is never a problem other than the snake being a little timid. If I handle her or go to pick her up she always tries to tag me. Usually the more defensive snakes I've handled are fine once I pick them up. Not this girl. She keeps striking. Never actually connected. I can hand her to my daughter and no striking. Hand her back to me and she hates me. It's the weirdest thing. And no, it didn't just happen once after I was feeding or anything. It happens almost every time I try to handle her. Anyone ever see this? I think she hates me. Lol

I have one snake that only bites one person and it is a feeding bite. The snake is completely passive with other people.

LOL. The one that particular animal likes to chew on is my wife. So, when we are getting ready to feed I normally do the rat count and she gets them out of the freezer. My order usually goes something like this, 10 smalls, 30 mediums, 3 rat pups, and a quart of pork fried rice (My wife is Chinese). I think I am hilarious, my wife just calls me a (insert foul words here). ROFL
