Ok, as the title says this is in fact my first lock. I didn't really expect to start truly matching up my pairs for another 2-3 more months so im starting to look a bit deeper a lot faster than I expected. Being that I am new to this, I will have a ton of questions. Is there a specific site or guide that explains everything step by step and what to look for ( I enjoy guides that make it easy enough for an idiot)? I have an incubator I built from a wine cooler a couple months back and running, so I am set with that. There is just almost too much info out there, or maybe a better way of putting it is that not everyone does it really the same so it is hard to piece it all together.

Am i too off base by trying to pair them up each weekend for a few more months, noting every time I see a lock? I feel like I am getting my first lock when everyone else is starting to lay even though I know snakes are on their own time. I just wanted to entice her to eat hah. I'll continue to read and soak up the information.

Locked - went to bed then woke up - Locked - went to work and came home - Locked

*edit* I should mention that I have done a good bit of reading on the matter before I got a second-fifth snake so I am not totally without knowledge or preparedness for this. I was wanting to start pairing, its just a bit early. Unfortunately because of my location, I have the internet and not much else for information on the subject.
