Exclamation What is my herpstat doing?!!

Why is my herpstat flickering? It beeped a couple times also. I checked all my connections my probe hasn't moved and the temperature isn't fluctuating or anything. What's it doing?
I'm trying to post a video but can't figure it out! The display screen is flickering between 90.1, 0% power and 90.0, 18% power. It's set to dimming.

What do you mean by flickering? The display is flickering?

The display is switching between 90.1 0% and 90.0 18%.
It's set to dimming so should be providing a steady supply of power. The thermostat itself is set to 90 degrees and usually maintains a hotspot of 89 ish with a steady 20 percent power. It beeped a couple times this morning but no alarm has gone off.

Not sure if you're running heat tape or RHP, but maybe something changed in your room air temp that's causing the different reading. Sounds like typical function to me though.

As for the beep, do you have a high temp alarm set for 90F?

Temp alarm is set to 95 degrees. It was just a couple of really low beeps.

    Looks to be working fine.

The top number is the temp the probe is reading.

The bottom number is the temp you set.

The % is the amount of power the tstat is sending to the heat device to provide the set temp.

There is always some temp fluctuation. What you're seeing is very small but enough for the tstat to work by adding and taking away power.

Okay cool. It's never done this before. At least not that i've seen. It had me a little worried. Thanks for the reply!

You probably just never saw it sitting at the set temp. Say you changed your set temp to 90 you would see the tstat turn on and run steady until it reached the set temp. In the past you probably saw it in a building phase trying to reach the set temp.
