Had a thread a while back about if females ever skip the shed process. Well I have my answer now. This girl hasn't shed in 90 days. Pics up in one minute

I usually wait a few days and then feed. Congrats on the eggs!

Well last night my daughter couldn't sleep. She kept checking on the eggs. Good thing I put a light in the incubator or I am sure she would have been opening the door. It was so cool to see her so excited. I really hope all the work she has put into these eggs pays off for her. It was also cool to get eggs as a kind of early surprise.

Now the question is when do I feed her?

Usually I give them 48 hours, success will depend on how food agressive the female is, some will take within 24 hours some will wait a week, some will only resume 60 days later.

Just make sure the tub is cleaned, bedding changed and that you washed off the snake as well.

All that was done. Gave her a hide back and last night she settled in. This morning she is sitting with her head out watching. Wonder if that means she wants food or if it means she wants to attack me for taking her eggs. Maybe I'll try either today or tomorrow. If she doesn't take one I'll wait a week and try again

Went back and checked her records. Last shed was 92 days ago. Actually counted on a calendar to check. She skipped the prelay shed.

It happens, I have seen females not having pre-lay and I have seen female having to sheds between ovy and egg laying.

They don't all go by the book
