Snake rescue mission
My teacher had several pets in the class, one a ball python. No heat lamp for a month humidity rarely above 30% and it was almost never fed. So last day of my senior year I just snagged it

Good now you are officially a criminal posting pictures of stolen property online, very smart & your parents must be proud
There is no excuse for theft, regardless of the condition an animal is kept in, there is a right way to do thing and a wrong way.
Yep really good job Riley!

Oh goodness wait, you STOLE it? That may not have been the best way to go about that..... 😓 I would contact your teacher and let her know you have it. Its probably frustrating to see a snake mistreated like that everyday, but that doesn't mean you can take someone's property...

When I was your age (showing my age lol) I was a peta supporter walking around putting up fliers, justifying the illegal and more times than not foolish human tricks they did it was till I saw the three thousand dollar contraception custom and saw a horrible camping making light of the suffering of humans durning times of crisis that I change my tune, my point as a child you think like a child. Now it's time to prove you are a young lady and return the snake and except what ever comes, explaining your heart was working but the brain was on autopilot.

This. ^^^
And the fact that it brings bad publicity onto snake keepers. Bad form. Take it back and accept any consequences

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

It wouldn't have hurt to ask first. I have a friend younger than you who got her second snake by doing just that, and he's now thriving in her care in a lush and lovely AP viv. Go back to the school, apologize, and make your case like a sensible adult.
