Question about girth
What about a 3.5 foot male?

1 1/2 foot male bp. I was wondering how thick they are suposed to be at that length.

Well snakes differ from one another like people.
So you can't really say how thick it will be at what age.
I will say this though, once you get them on rats ...
Girth adds on quite thickly.

I agree with Blink. You can not say that a 1.5 or even a 3.5 foot BP should be this width. It varies by animal. But to give ya an idea, when coiled up in the palm of my hand, Zeus (my 3 foot BP) is widder than my hand when I have all fingures stretched out as far as they will go. And the last time I weighed him, he came in at about 1.8 pounds. And when you switch them over to rats, they do and will grow like a weed (length and girth). They grow so fast that you wonder what happend to that cute little snake you brought home from the petshop.

I measured Zeus last night to give y'all an idea as to how wide he is. He is currently about 38" long and about 7" wide at his widest. But also take in account he had just eatten Sunday night and had yet to go to the bathroom. So, that width may change by the end of the week. But this give ya a little idea about girth.
