My adult is shedding so we have moss in her closure, the occasional spritz and the humidifier is still going in the room because it's still dry out. She's sitting at a pretty 69% to 70% humidity.
...... my baby is right next to her unfortunately, and is at 67% 68% and she's not shedding. -__-
If we open the door wider, the humidity drops too low for the shedder but if we close it more, it's too high for the non shedder.
Honestly - will high 60's be harmful for the one who's not shedding? I don't want lung infections.

They're in the same enclosure?

High 60's percentage for humidity is fine. They can tolerate high percentages as long as they aren't prolonged. I wouldn't even classify 68% as high. Make sure your ventilation is adequate and the enclosure is clean and you should be fine.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

I'm pretty sure they're just in the same room.
To answer the OP, I don't think high humidity will cause any problems for the non shedder as long as it's not too high for too long.

Ok thanks!
Not the same enclosure, just next to each other because they are on a Herpstat 2.
Shedder is at 72% with misting and wet moss and non Shedder at 68% BUT her enclosure is dry. Nothing to grow mould on.
What is considered "too long?" Once the adult sheds, I'm sure the baby will and then her humidity will have to be bumped... :/

If there is good ventilation, and the substrate isn't wet, up to even 85% humidity is totally fine. There is no "too long". It's only when the air is trapped and there is poor ventilation, THEN being in high humidity like that too long would cause problems.
Humidity in Ghana and Togo where ball pythons are native is 90% right now, just for example.

I'd say in total, if I were to guess the open space... 3" maybe 4" of open space? I'd that OK?
Also, the baby is 532g and has refused the last 3 weeks meals (probably a mix of temp up and downs while we got the herpstat 2, upgraded to larger hides and had to get and new humidifier, as well as weather,) but is it ok for her to sleep all day and most of the night but when I did just peek in, she was nosing at the top, maybe trying to get out? I held her for a minute and then she went back into her hut. Do bps try to escape when they are doing their nightly rounds? I've heard they are good at it.
