hey all...i live in a dorm room and decided to bring my ball "flex" to live with me. I am having trouble keep temps bc the temps in the room are so irregular... right now the temp in the room is about 63 and the cage is 73.6 and 87.6.....humidity stays around 50 which im happy about. But what are the range of temps that could be dangerous??? i am having so much trouble with the constant change of the temp in my room...tomorrow it will prolly be up to about 68 and sometyimes every 70...and then the enclosure temps get all wacked out again

i have one word for you: thermostat. if you connect your heat pad to a thermostat that will keep the temps on the hot side consistent and since your room temperature is so low, you may also want to get a seperate heat pad and thermostat for the cool side. that should regulate your temps and keep them right where they should be at all times without you having to worry or fuss over it.

Honestly, this time of yeea thats not too bad, alot of people will drop their temps during breeding season, the 73.6 if a few degrees would probably be better if it was in the 76-77 degree range, but i'd recommend trying to get the cage temps as consistant as possible

I must concur on this one. The thermostat will give you the best chance for getting correct temps. www.bigappleherp.com is a great place to start.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.
