Use mirror wall clips on standard RB hides. 20 pound clips for smaller hides and 40 pound, clips for larger hides.

Use as many as you can and fit them fairly snug so the hide won't fall when the hide flexes from the snake's movement.

I found that three clips in the front is not practical for removal of cleaning, so just one clip or a screw with silicone to act as a stop is good. Some sort of stop is necessary because without it the hide can scoot forward due to the snake's movement. Also when some of my snakes are active and in escape mode they will push on the back of the hide and slide it out.

Three clips up front is a hassle for removing

Just one clip or screw up front is best

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
