    Please help me identify these white little bugs ~ vid and photo

    Are these harmful to snakes?
    or just wood Mites?

    I am NOT an expert. They look similar to termite nymphs.

    Thank What is that substrate and where did it come from?

    I have no idea what this is but to be safe switch your substrate. Recommend paper towels.

    Springtails. Great little bugs if you're running a bioactive setup. Completely harmless, actually beneficial.

    Cool little bugs. I had some show up once. I had overlooked some feces that was camouflaged with some of the decor. When I noticed the bugs I saw a tiny bit of the remains of feces that they had broken down and were still working on.
    The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    it is coco fiber from pet store i do have some wood in there too .

    i had springtales i purchased and had added to another tank i have a gecko in also because i was growing live plants at the time , but they looked different than these maybe different age . they were more flat and smaller even.
