    Need Help !!!!!!!!

Every time when I offered my ball python a small adult mouse he would just take it, but when I sometimes offered a weaned rat he would look at it acted like he's interested but he would never strike at it.

I'm sure my ball python eat both rat and mice because when I first bought him I went to pet smart and got him like two small rat and he ate it.

Side note: I got my small adult mice and weaned rat from online from bigchessefactory and they all white in fur. The small rat I got from pet smart had different color in term of fur.

It is best not to switch back and forth if you want your BP to eat rats, they will sooner or later prefer a prey over the other and more often than not it will be mice as they are more enticing due to the smell.

Switch your snake to rat if you want to feed rat and stop offering mice or vice versa.

BP are finicky eaters and alternating prey is not helping.

I'm planning to feed him a rat this coming up Monday since Monday is his feeding day. But what happen if he just refuse to eat it? do I just leave him alone for another week or what ?
