Depends on your rotation. No limit to the number of females, just a limit to how often he goes in and that depends on the particular male and how healthy he is. I really try to give a male 4 days on and 3 consecutive days off. This can work out to two females a week depending on how soon he locks an stays locked.
I put my males in with a females 4 on 3 off also but gets 1 day with a female then goes to the next so he gets 4 females a week depending on how well he breeds
now i try to limit total number of females but there is no set number
also he instantly gets 3 days off after a visiual lock no mater where he is in his breeding cycle so in i can do about 6 females a year per male, usually do 3-4 though as I do not want him over worked

Reason: because i aint no good at grammer :)
Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.
Re: 500gram just ready to breed male. How many females you would give him?
Edit: I was wrong about information. I apologize. I am still concerned about your breeding plans as you still seem to be lacking a lot of basic knowledge (e.g. spurs).

He's buying expensive stuff too. Hope he keeps asking questions and following advice. Maybe he will pay us all off with a free scaleless. LOL. I chickened out of that project.

I was wrong about the two weeks ago - that was someone else. Still seems to be very very new.

I'll try to avoid future questions.
As I said, I really am sorry I got your timeline wrong. I have no plans to further critique your breeding plans as it would clearly be unwelcome and ineffective. Please do continue to ask any questions you need - I promise I will avoid any further negative commentary on your posts.
As to my free time, I actually don't have very much but either way that is my own business.
Breed for 3 days and give 3 days off. Following this format exactly allows 5 females per month. To maximize your potential that the females become gravid I would suggest no more than 5 females.
