How can I tell how old my BP is?

My new friend Sherbie just arrived a couple of weeks ago. She really seems to enjoy her new home. Each day I go to look for her she's always hiding, but then I've seen her pop out in the evenings to say goodnight. As of today, she's already eaten two meals since she's been here (which from my research means that my husbandry is good; hiding and eating BPs are healthy, yes?) with no problem. She hasn't pooed yet, but I know that will come in time. Anywho, the breeder I purchased her from didn't know her age; he just knew that she was relatively young. Is there a way to determine how old a BP is by their weight? I weighed her for the first time today and she is 191g.

Weight is useless for exact age determination. There are over 1 yold ones that are this weight and also over a kg

If you don't have a hatch date, you'll probably never know for certain.

From her weight and looking at the correspending weights of similarly aged snakes on my local ball python specialist website, it sounds like she is probably a late CB16.
Possibly she was hatched some time from November to December of 2016 or very early 2017, maybe in January to Feburary. Of course, this is presuming she hasn't been a problem feeder. Obviously as others said, you won't know the exact date but she is probably a few months old.

Based on the averages of weight shown in the graph, it would put the age of your ball python at around 4-5 months old. I hope this helps, and enjoy your new friend!

There are too many variables to accurately determine a truly accurate age.

You can't go by any charts to determine age. Did you get her from the breeder that produced her? If so and they couldn't provide the history for you I wouldn't deal with them in the future. It's not hard to keep basic records.
