Hard to beat Big Cheese for both price point and quality, but they're regularly sold out of medium and up rats.

I've used Perfect Prey for the last few years and have never had any issues. The feeders are clean and very well packaged.

That's because you have to buy bulk, feeders are neither cheap to produce or to ship and when buying online you need to buy larger quantities for the price (including shipping) to be competitive compared to local suppliers.

I suffered the blow of the $30 shipping for ordering from here, but they offer a "smaller quantities" option for ordering. As I only have one ball, i was much happier ordering 5 weaned rats than having to get 20 and likely have some get freezer burned or grown out of and wasted. It was still $43, but it's the price I have to pay for this sucker. It's also still a month worth of food, so I'm not going to be complaining in a couple weeks
There's really not a way to avoid the price of shipping unfortunately unless you can find a local retailer.

I have 8 snakes and I usually order about 6 months worth of feeders at a time. Even when I only had 1 or 2 snakes it was always more economical to buy in bulk than to pay pet store prices. If my BP was eating weaned rats I'd buy 1 pack of weaners and a pack of smalls. That'll cost a tad over $81 and last almost 9 months if you're feeding every 7 days. I dont think that's bad at all. The feeders are vacuum sealed and I usually break them down into smaller packages to reduce air exposure. I've never had any issues with freezer burn. This is my last feeder order from January and I still have plenty of food for my critters. I probably should have ordered more large rats because my carpets are growing fast but I'll just double up on the mediums if need be. The way I see it is $273 to feed 8 snakes for 6 months is less than $6 per month per critter. You can't beat that.

I've been using perfect prey exclusively for some time now. Their packaging is kind of a mess to get into - I am all thumbs when it comes to cracking that insulation and tape job - but it keeps the product well frozen so I can cope with a couple minutes of hassle each order.

I hadn't thought about purchasing like this but that's a good idea, especially since I've got everyone on different sizes and in the process of moving to bigger sizes.
