Sounds hopeful. I'd suggest you read a few threads on feeding tips / issues before you attempt a feed just to improve the chances of a successful first feedinv session ... There are many ways but the basics are very similar .. Don't handle beforw on the day of feeding , feed in the evening ideally low lighting - the mouse / rat HAS to be WARM not cool ...Originally Posted by MadTurtle

I'm just the kind of person that wants everything perfect..So to be honest, I'm going to take some time to settle in.Like you said, I prob will have a better idea how he feels after I try feeding him.. Until then I will just have to keep an eye on him.. The breeder I got him from said he's not a shy guy and never misses a meal.. I hope that trend continues
