    Question How old is he?

    Hi everyone,

I have a normal morph ball python, (one parent normal and one parent cinnamon)

I got him last Sunday and I was told he is 5 months old but I am not convinced because when I got my pastel at 5months (I've had him for a year now) he was a lot bigger.

He is about 16inches long and weighing 95grams. He was being fed rat pups and has fed twice with us, once on Monday and once on Friday. Is he under weight or younger than 5months?

Thank you very much in advance.

They all grow at different rates but 95g would be a little small for 5 months.
I have a couple of picky eaters too.

Seems a bit small for 5 months, but by no means impossible. But, like stated above they all grow at different rates.

He has eaten well with us so far, should I feed him every 5 days to help him gain the weight or once a week?

I'd stick with once a week. Don't wanna overload him. Feed him appropriately sized prey and he will grow just fine

Thank you, I will bump to to the next size (the pups are too small) and stick to once a week
