WTF ball python wont eat
Hey everyone , I have a 1 year old ball python that is going on 4 months without eating , i'm worried sick.
Her tank set up is perfect with hide temp at 90 the cool side is at 80 , humidity is at 55% fresh water every day.
Her weight was at 1010 grams, this was 4 months ago , I know she has lost weight but not sure as to how much, will need to pick up a scale to weigh her.
Does anyone have any clues as to what to do to get her to eat ?
Thanks to all that help.

What was her eating schedule like before going off food?
What prey was she eating?
How often are you offering? and when are you offering?
How much are you handling her?
Has anything at all changed for her since she last ate?
Knowing how much weight she has possibly lost would help too.

Re: WTF ball python wont eat
Her feeding schedule was weekly, every Friday and I fed her in the afternoon, her diet was mice, nothing has changed in her tank, she has went off food before but never for this long , she doesn't look skinny and looks healthy, she is active and drinks plenty of water.
As I said before her weight on December 15 was 1015 grams , this was the last time she ate , I just weighed her and she is 944 grams , I also tried to feed her but with no results , she totally ignores her food.

It's called the wall many go through it when they reach 800/1000 grams, it can last a few weeks, 6 months, a year.
Make sure your husbandry is optimal, downsize if you think it is necessary, offer smaller prey every 10 to 14 days instead of weekly until she gets back in the habit of eating.
