Opinions?
Bought this as a normal, getting lighter every shed? Do you think it's just a very light normal or has something else going on?

Looks like something out of the fire complex.
Honestly, a Ball Python is always "Normal" until proven to have genetic traits through breeding or through lineage. Try breeding it to a normal, then breed any similar offspring back to the parent and see what you get.
I bred a Lesser to a Pastel last year, ended up with really strong dorsal lines on the offspring, other than the normals. One of them has 0 breaks in the line, and it connects to the head as if the snake has a crown. Hoping it leads to the offspring having a similar pattern but I won't know until I breed it
Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies

Yeah I've got plans to prove it out, or at least try! She was really dark when I first got her last year but has brightened up every shed, definitely think there's something different in her though
