    Basking bath..hmmm thts a term I have never heard. Interesting.

    It sounds as if what you are referring to as a "basking bath" means direct sunlight..outside.

    If that is what you are asking.. no, there is no value in it for a ball python. They do not absorb uv to help w calcium digestion/use like another reptiles that require a basking light, such as bearded dragons or igaunas.
