    Hrm, you use water? I have had a lot of issues with it, and strangely I've had snakes reject them for whatever reason. Interesting to see it does work

    Hot water to thaw. Heater to spread smell and blow dryer to heat when needed

    And yes, I have a few that str8 refuse f/t. And half the time they refuse live. It comes down to patients and not giving up.

    I thaw by leaving the rats out near my snakes. Wait a period of time based on the volume, usually however long I'm at work or sleeping, turn on a lamp so all the heads are around the bright spot (leaving the bright spot itself without any rats under it). Wait a few minutes for them to get warm (5-10), and offer them to the snakes.

    Usually by the time the rats are thawed the snakes are in feeding mode

    Same for my Savannah but I don't bother warming them and just put them near the basking spot

    I honestly hate feeding f/t cause I feel that the vitamins n minerals are not there. But what I'm doing has worked since August. Not changing
