My BP never poops in their tank?
She only poops in her tank when she sheds, or just a little bit, nothing big. But when she's out of the tank, she lets loose. like, omg. I realized this soon after getting her, so whenever I have her out, she is condemned to my ratty towels or scarves. Today I had to through away a towel because there was no coming back from the poop storm she let loose, like seriously, the towel was less than worthless... and just covered. What I want to know... is why? Her tank is is always 65-80 humidity when I'm home, and only drops lower before i get home from school. Her temps are fine, I've checked with multiple things (one of those laser temp things, wall thermometers, digital heat sensor thing) + she moves around fine (she is about 50/50 on each side, she doesn't favor one.) I have a thermostat. Is this just one of my BP's quirks? Or is there something I can do?

Well, thats easy.
She is house broken!!! (her house)
Sorry...lol.
Mine have never done that. The only snake that ever peed on me more then once was my Jungle Carpet Male. And he did it while he "napped" on my lap, acting all innocent.
I'm not really sure what you could do about it. Little snake diapers?? hehe, sorry. But yours is the very first "house broken" Ball Python I've heard of.

Maybe yours just really really really doesn't want feces in her living space? Pretty strong preference it sounds like, I haven't heard anything like it before.
A litter box may be in order

If you take her out more often does she go more often?

Or...you know how some people "move" them to feed them (don't agree with that, but thats another story)
You could "move" her to let her go to the bathroom.
Make a nice little tub, warm and comfy, perhaps some entertainment like TV on or something, and let her do her thing

Yeah, and some little pieces of it crumbled up in a corner, for wiping!!
I do have to say, ALL my Ball Pythons have their preference on where to poop. Its usually in a back corner of their tub. All squshed into the corner or along the edge.
But I've never heard of one that was house broken to the tub. Its kind of fascinating, really.
Hm, now that I think about it, can't "pooping" be a sign of nerves? Being nervous? It is with other animals. Could it be that the handling makes her worry/nervous and she poops because of it?

I remember seeing something from Justin Kobylka where he theorized that they hold it as long as they can, because in the wild, if they go in a burrow, they'd have to find a new hunting ground. The prey would avoid burrows that smell like snake.

Handling and movement is known to help them poop, so yeah! LOL also that you happen to be unlucky so far, which stinks... Ha.
