Thanks. I learned that with my sav. This time around, though, the proportions are right, leading to a much much much lighter substrate (50-70ish lbs) compared to the sav's 200lbs in 4/3rds of the volume. And because of the swimming area being somewhat larger than the dirt side, not to mention heated, the humidity is always high and I don't need to water the dirt to keep up the humidity.
