I can pick him up without any huffing, puffing or hissing.

When we sit in our "TV spot" he usually just gets comfy and stays put. Not in a nervous way. His body is relaxed and he will move around a little bit, but stays on my lap.

When I walk around he "watches" intently where we go. Outside, he will explore and move around more, I think he doesn't like the bright sun, though But there is no huffing and getting frantic at all, more like a "is there some shade around here somewhere". Taking him back to the tub is easy, he KNOWS the room and turns towards the tub as soon as we walk in. He then slithers down calmly and picks a hide. He doesn't "run" off

All in all, doing great! I cannot complain
