well since today was my birthday my dad got me a 5o gallon long tank for my girl! i was just wonderin since she is 20 inches right now and in a 10 gallon when it would be alright 2 switch her in there?

Body Temp Question
You can put her in there now, as long as you provide lots of hides, and have the temperatures right and everything.
I'd mess around with the temps and humdity in the 50 gal for a while and make sure they were stable (at least a couple of days, if not a week) before I put the bp in there though.

Exactly. As long as its nice and "snug" for her ... go for it. She'll have some room to stretch out

well i have nothing in their yet. Its one of those all living thongs aquarium it measures 36 inches by 18 inches(ok i guess its not a long!)

36 x 18 sounds like it's roughly a 30 or 40 breeder, depending on the height. And yeah you could put her in there as soon as you get everything set up, but remember to "crowd" it with lots of hides, fake plants, stuff like that to cut down on the open space.
