New girl I have is skittish. Doesn't seem to like having an audience. She was acting afraid of the mouse she was offered last night until I backed off a little bit and watched from a couple feet away, then she went right for it. Some snakes are just nervous eaters, and you have to make sure they feel secure before they'll eat.
