    About to buy hypo breeder

Hi everyone, I am about to buy a 2013 hypo female off of a guy who has bred her one time last year. She produced a clutch of 4 and said the eggs went full term. He also told me that she is displaying signs of being gravid but that he doubts she is while acknowledging the possibility of retained sperm from last year. He has not paired her up this season. He told me she has refused meals the last 2 weeks. Ok, sounds like hes being honest about everything right? He sent me several pictures and she looks great. Not super robust but healthy at 1400 grams i'd say. I'm going to give him 150 buks for her. What do you guy/gals think? Deal or no deal. Sorry if this has been an annoying post, I just like hearing the thoughts and opinions of more experienced keepers/breeders. I have never bred ball pythons before although I'm hoping she is not gravid. I would like to breed her to a pied next year.

    Thanks

Price seems fair as here in the UK ghost/hypo ball pythons are going for about £130 and if she is healthy and looks good and is a good weight then go for it, But i am no expert when it comes to ghost/hypo ball pythons just telling you my opinion. Maybe wait for some others to reply as well and see what they have to say.

Re: About to buy hypo breeder

I've seen female breeder hypos go for £300 in the uk so $150 is a bargain!

Pair a decent male and you'll get the $150 back in the first clutch
