Yup, I agree. Purchased as an adult normal for $35. Pulled her out of an enclosure with about eight other animals. Picked her because of her belly. I normally wouldn't buy an animal that way but I needed a mature normal very badly. She spent quite a bit of time in quarantine. She has actually become my favorite. Has the disposition of an angel. My kids love her. I have quite a few animals but my $35 normal is the one that gets all the attention.

I know that Leopards have belly pattern. I believe that Sables also have belly pattern. I have heard that some Sables do and some don't. I had a Sable that did have belly pattern and I have a captive hatched animal that might be a Sable, but he has a clear belly.

I really want to see this combined with leopard. It's so similar yet it's different enough that I can't see it being the same... Either way I think that's a pairing that needs to be done. The same is true with the acid gene except I think the acid is closer to leopard then static.

Just a regular ol pied as far as I know. Just picked him up last week. He doesn't have grey anywhere else -

Ah, thanks. This explains why I have never seen this before. I do not have any pied in my collection. You are the second person talking about grey on a pied. Must be a common trait that I did not know about.
