I almost got into boas but decided to get into dwarf and super dwarf retics instead. I was especially looking at the 'lipstick' sunglow boas. It's actually an Albino (recessive) + Hypo (co-dominant). Not really high end, you can pick them up for $500, but still a really cool snake:

Boas can get pretty big, on par with a dwarf retic:

As far as I know, XYZ is a flesh peddler aka wholesale buyer. I personally wouldn't trust a wholesale buyer that labeled a sunglow as a "lipstick" or a hypo labeled "salmon". Unless the snake can be connected to Tom Burke or Rich Ihles, it is not a true Lipstick or Salmon.

And $2000 is midrange to you? Dang do you wear Mr T gold chains too lol? On average, most people who buy 'pets' are not going to come close to spending 2k for an animal. There are some stupid like me who do where I would pay $2000 for a male mainland pied retic or $3000 for a SD pied retic when they are made(which I have heard a few people have eggs on the way so fingers crossed) or SD Cows(which again, I have heard a few people with eggs on the way) which will probably be in the 8K range as mainland cows are still 6K. The big spenders are the breeders who have to work fast as morphs drop in price fast once they are flooded on the market by people. I mean look at pied BPs. I saw a price list from one of the big breeders which of course I cant find or remember now but they were $10k. now you can get a pied for $400. Scoria boas were 10-15K a couple years ago from Henry Poirun in Canada but now he sells them for 7k. And there are breeders in the US now for them like Guy Castro and Diem Marie and one other person who I always forget their name

Anyways, sorry for the rant lol. OP-Just make sure you find a reputable breeder. Check the BOI page on FaunaClassifieds.com to make sure he has fairly good feedback and pay through PayPal so you have some form of recourse if it goes bad.
