Hi everyone! I have a question and I'm gonna try and put it in a nut shell. My ball python has a minor respiratory infection. I took her to our exotic vet yesterday and she is on antibiotics now. She is also in full she'd. She was blue when I took her yesterday and has cleared up since then. I expect her to shed in the next day or two. Her nose and eyes were a bit dry and the vet suggested a humid hide and told me how to make one. It's a small plastic shoe box type container with a hole cut in it so she can get in and out, and sphagnum moss in the corner. She found her way in no problem but I'm not sure she can find her way out as easily. My question is, will she be able to shed in such a cramped space and is it OK that she is laying on top of the moss? She seems to like it and is content right now. I just want to make sure she'll be OK if she starts to shed.
