When training people on ball pythons, I affectionately refer to the nose and heat pits as the "booplesnoot." This usually helps dial the fear factor back a bit

Re: Got euphemisms?
I call the snake's nose a 'snoot' (I think that term actually came from this site while I was originally doing research), which leads to him being called "cute snoot" far more often than using his full name, Mashadar.
Also, (not for ball pythons) but when I'm training birds of prey I refer to pinky mice as 'popcorn' and the bowl of warm water used to thaw out the mice out as 'the hot tub'

I often call Donuts' tub her "house" or say that when I take her out to roam, when she's done for the day she "goes back to her room" AKA slithers back over to her tub and gets in. Also I call her hides "beds" and the refer to the lid of her tub as the roof (of her house). When I upgrade her to a bigger size tub or tank and put stuff in it that she can sit on, I'll probably call those couches lol.
I also took to the habit of differentiating between Donuts (BP) and Marmalade (a BRB I had) by calling Donuts the "cutie noodle" and Marmalade the "beauty noodle." If I had a hoggie I'd call it the snooty noodle. An aggressive snake... Brutal noodle? These are just too easy!
Also, these aren't really euphemisms but I intentionally refer to her motions and postures by terms that don't really work for snakes. "She walked up to this," "she stood up really tall and looked at that," etc. I like using phrases referring to things that require feet for some reason

snuggie - when a snake, esp. a BP, balls itself up with just it's head or snoot poking out.

When I put two animals together I have had told my young daughters that they were having a date. In hind site I think this is not the right thing to be telling little girls.
