When i first read this title i thought ... mid-sized burm? I'dve never thought of them as people food .. but if it floats your boat go for it. I'll never eat one tho

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

I'll stick w/poultry, pigs, cows, & fish thank you (that pretty much covers what we consider edible meat in this country I suppose--nothing gross though like feet, guts, organs, etc. BLECH!)...but, there are countries that consider dogs people food too....it's a cultural thing I guess.

i think its more a necessity thing that gets labeled as "cultural"
i'm sure if american society was like peru, with the abundance of guinea pigs....we'd eat em

new ball
i think that, in general, american society has a problem with eating anything labeled as being cute. and i can't imagine there is that much quality meat on a guinea pig anyhow.
