My Infrared light keeps going out, please help
For some reason, whenever it gets about 50°F the dome (or light holder, Idk the proper name) keeps blowing out the bulbs. This has happened twice now and that is the only source of heat for my ball python. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Switch to a che, and try to get a dome that can handle more that the che is rated. I would NOT continue to use your current dome.
Make sure you are uaing digital thermometers to measure temps, and consider a dimmer switch to turn down the heat if needed.

Not very often. It's pretty warm where I live and rarely gets that cold.
