    Albino BP shedding

Can anyone give me any pointers on how to tel if my albino is going to shed soon? It's hard to tell if her eyes are getting foggy because of their color.

She will likely spend more time in her hide, or at least mine did, just before she starts to shed. I'd definitely bump up her humidity if you suspect she's getting close. Good luck with your BP!

Loose wrinkled skin, dull color.. Last thing is eyes blued, then they clear a bit and shed within a week usually.

I noticed the white parts of their coloration gets kind of splotchy pink looking, and the yellow parts get lighter. The eyes are the most obvious, where they turn a lighter pink.

    Albino BP shedding

Albinos in shed can be tricky to spot sometimes .

10 out of my 20 are albinos and even now one will catch me unawares and I'll suddenly find a shedded skin in a viv . The albino Royals are the easiest as they stop climbing in the evenings and hide away for a week plus show zero interest when they offered food.

Could anyone post a picture of their albino right before or during shed?

It is hard to capture in a picture vs seeing it in real life. But my albino is actually going through shed right now, so I can get a picture for you.

Like I mentioned before, the biggest indication for me is their yellows and whites become splotchy looking, as if thy're losing some color in little dots/patches. The skin around their necks get more wrinkly.

update... sorry, looks like he's either already past or not yet in his splotchiest looking stage. LOL

update again. I found really old pictures from when he was a baby.

    In shed:

    Normally (at the same age)

This is my snake as of last night. Would you say she is close to shed? I'm a little blue/yellow color blind so it's hard for me to tell. And sorry it isn't the best picture. My girlfriend took it last night.

Albinos in shed are hard enough to tell at the best of times
It really depends on if it looks paler , less colourful than USUAL . That one LOOKS to have lovely colours in the photo but nobody apart from you can really decide if it's paler than usual
