... to walk into your herp room and just look at all those fat, healthy reptiles, and know that YOU made them that way?
It just makes me so happy. Not to be corny or cheesy about it, but it does!
Hats off to all the keepers who keep their reptiles healthy and happy!

Doesn't it make you happy...
Oh YES Gin, I feel the same, I take alot of pride in my reptiles, and it is awesome to see healthy , happy and well fed specimens of the different species I keep..
But- I take pride in all my critters, and boy do I have alot. Hehehe- just added a new AFT Striped Gecko this weekend, man he is cute.

BPnet Veteran
I take pride in all my animals. Even though it's probable that Nebula would have been adopted by somebody else if I hadn't taken her, I take pride in the fact that she has a good home. I also take pride in the fact that she probably would have died from an RI if I hadn't gotten her the day I did. Quite frankly, I'm glad I got her to the vet asap after I brought her home (it was a saturday, and she didn't get into the vet until tuseday). She was sneezing a lot and wheezing by the time she got in. 2 weeks of of antibotics and she was fine.
She's a slightly chunky healthy kitty now. (Spent a bit too much time on kitten food by accident).
And I love watching my bp cruise around happily in his tank
