Thank you, I really appreciate it. Here's another question though. With this variation, how can genes like a Special be identified? They look very similar, almost exact to normals at times.

Specials are alot brighter more like a vanilla or fire. Very easy to tell from a normal if you have them side by side (at least to someone who has any experience with them) they also tend to be more blushed than normals. This link should help you see the difference

It is difficult for most people in the beginning because they do not have a baseline to compare to. Once you have combinations of genes it can become even more difficult. The good news is, it comes with practice. Go to the what morph is this section of the forum and practice guessing, and it should help a lot. None of us can identify everything. Some things cannot be identified unless they are bred. In my opinion you really cannot be positive about the some of the morphs unless you have actually worked with the gene.
