It's not a big deal. Especially if you have owned and handled the snake from juvenile size. You sort of grow into the snakes size with them. Now if you are used to small and go instant huge, it will take some getting used to.

That's so true !!

I bought all mine as hatchlings or youngsters apart from my dream snake - the Snow Boa .. He came to me as an immensely powerful 6 footer ( nearer 7' now ) and he was so much bigger , heavier and STRONGER than any of my others .

After a settling in period , It took me a few weeks of hesitant handling before I grew accustomed to his ways . Now I just reach in and lift him out , it's a breeze .
