. Thanks Cletus. They were laid December 30th but I have had the thermostat set to 88.5F. Maybe that's why the two are a bit early.

Do you use the cypress to raise humidity ? Do you always use it ? It the one probe a humidity probe and do you like how it works?
I just got a digital thermometer that has a temp AND a humidity probe. The reviews were mixed, but I do think it works.
Do you always keep your probes inside of the egg box ? Do you have a lid on the egg box?
Sorry for the many questions, I'm trying to be well prepared Any tips will help..

. Thanks Zina, it is exciting but worrisome at the same time. Lol. After you've hatched a few clutches you get better at allowing the process to run its course as you tweak the details.

. Hey, I love questions. Yes, I use the cypress mulch to help with the humidity but this is the first time trying it. I had 99% humidity percent without it but decided to try it out. I do use a lid and then cover that with "press and seal" from day 1. Two of the three probes are hygrometers/ thermometers in my tub bc they all have differing temps and humidity percentages so I get a range. The accurite was measuring a low humidity and the pawliss was reading 99%. So it's just really a insurance measure. I really believe in what Corey Delong and many other big breeders say about seeing the presence of condensation in the tub is your best indicator that your humidity percent is adequate regardless of what the measured humidity is reading. Yes, I always keep the probes in the egg box. Always keep a lid on the tub and covered with "press and seal".
