I typically feed my snakes every 3-5 days, I actually just changed to a solid 5 day feeding plan with a few random meals in between when I'm feeding off some extra rodents, usually to my smallest ball pythons who have the bigger appetite and grow the fastest. I've noticed that my snakes grow at an astounding rate compared to other people, in fact I think my snakes are about 3x bigger than a lot of people posing on this forum if you compare similar aged snakes. The more you feed them the faster they grow and the more they shed and poop. I've actually seen ball pythons that were only fed one small meal once a month, I actually had one that I got off of Craig's List, he was a year old and not much bigger than a hatchling. Within a year of heavy feeding he was up to 1500 grams! I'm sure in that first year he didn't shed very much. Now that he's reached 1500 grams he has decided to go on a long hunger strike LOL. I like to feed pretty heavy because once you start breeding them it's tough for them to keep the weight on and they will stop eating for months when full of eggs.
