    My buddies are using cypress mulch (nofloat) but it's so hard to find so I ordered some reptichip coco husk. If you buy it straight from the website and use the coupon for two bags, it's a pretty good deal. Cypress is much cheaper though but they say you gotta either bake it or leave it outside in the freezing cold for a while (wood mites). Less likely to be a problem with reptichip I think...
