You'll never get a 80 degree ambient temp from a UTH if its outside the enclosure like they're made to be used even if you covered the whole floor with one.
Slither Seeker has a cool custom made invention that he can now use inside his tank so it effects his ambient temp (like a RHP) differently than what your doing with your setup.
Just want you to understand that so you don't try putting your UTH inside the tank as the snake cant be in contact with it, and the UTH itself can not get pissed on or washed with any liquid of any kind
