Definitely has one of the craziest belly patterns I've seen on a "yellowbelly"... I think he will prove but of course it's all luck, fingers crossed!

I would personally guess gravel.

What makes you say that? Just a hunch? Haha I had a hunch when I saw him.

Mainly going off the asphalt markers that I know of. Though Asphalt vs yb is a lot easier to pick out compared to gravel vs yb. The belly looks a bit too aberrant compared to a regular yellow belly but that could also be due to variation. Obviously I can't hard confirm the gravel but for me, I would personally lean towards gravel.

Not with gravel. Asphalt has some but they aren't really set in stone. They're more like guidelines due to variations in yellowbelly quality.

Hey Dez, Congrats on that pretty little thing!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010
Etta, 2013
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
Esmarelda , 2014
Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017
Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Hey I know this has been a while since this thread was active but you mentioned that it was easier to tell asphalt from yellow belly verses gravel. What are the asphalt markers for people looking to take a risk?
