    How long between sheds?

In looking over my notes, my boy appeared to have shed pretty regularly every 6 weeks or so. He's 18 months old now and his last shed was complete at the end of November. How long is normal between sheds? I feel like he should have had one by now.

    How long between sheds?

Like many things about BP's and other snakes, there are no strict shedding cycles. Though at times they can be somewhat predictable.

I know it can be confusing. Your notes may show that he sheds every 30-34 days. But they will and do change things around sometimes even doing something crazy like going into the blue and then skipping a shed.

My opinion is that they may be consistent when they get longer, but things get thrown off when then they start adding girth. Nothing to back it up, just observation with a wild guess.

I have notes on some that are very eradic that show 33, 58, 31,47, 72, 31 days.

Shedding is like pooping, they just do it when they are ready.

The main thing is to be cognizant and bump up the humidity when it's time so they can have a smooth and easy, stress free shed.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
