    I personally would say no as even a Hog is still going to get around 4-5' and you are talking a width of 1.5'. not even half the width of the snake. 2' is the minimum you want. With that said, that cage would work fine for at least a year or 2 as boas grow slow. The biggest issue will be getting the humidity and heating correct as anyone who used glass tanks knows how much bubblegum and tape it takes to make them work, myself included lol.
