    first things first the probe needs to be between the UTH and the bin, and you need a secondary thermometer measuring the temp on the inside against the bin. You also could probably do with two hides, one hot and one cool side.

    secondly you are going to want to keep that gap between the bottom of the tub and the floor, no gaps can cause the UTH to overheat/malfunction due to no heat exchange and ultimately lead to a shortened lifespan for the device.
