IMO-leave the insert, it's worth more as a reptile setup. As a fish tank, old large tanks are not particularly valuable on their own, kind of a risk to refill and use depending on how it's been stored and moved. I paid about $500 for a brand new 135 gallon reef ready tank with low iron glass and that was a decade ago. I'd pay about $1/gallon for a reptile tank and you could probably get $100-150 for the tank alone easy but I think you could ask double that with the insert.
