Mites?

My eyes don't seem to be playing ball this morning when trying to watch the video, but could they possibly be wood mites? Only thinking of this because after changing one of our substrate supplies we were suddenly hit by them, all over the enclosure, the table the enclosure was on but not on the actual snake it's self. I would suggest leaving his meal to digest and then work on getting rid of them, regurgitation is not pretty lol.

I've never seen him soak before though. I just bought him a new bathtub (huge dog bowl) and put it in. And that's also when I changed his substrate. All of a sudden he started soaking but his belly was also pink.
Now, there are a bunch of little white specks in the water but not on him.

It could be that he's soaking due to a bigger water bowl, the one reason I suggested wood mites are because snake mites are typically dark/red/brown. The ones I had were white, they were pretty easy to get rid of. Switch to paper towels for now, and give the vivarium a deep clean and all the surrounding area. We got rid of the' new' substrate all together and went back to our old one and 'touch wood' we haven't had the problem again.
