    Feeding

Lately I've been told to feed my 2033 female bp once every 10 days rather than once a week? I've been feeding her once a week for 2 years. But lately she's been slacking.. I don't want to feed her too much or too little. Let me know your thoughts!

    Re: Feeding

Personally I think if it's an appropriate sized meal then every 10 days works just fine

2033 BP!!!!??? OMG future snake!!! Ok, now not to be a jerk, if she eats weekly, I personally would just stick to it. If she feels she doesn't need food, she will refuse it. Now if you have other garbage cans to eat it, that's fine. If not then you could be wasting food. I've never seen a BP that ate itself into morbid obesity but I have seen plenty of boas do it and I guess retics can too. I just stick to weekly on my 2.5 year old girl as it makes it easy for me to remember but she does refuse food here and there but my list is filled with garbage cans.

She's been refusing food for around a month now which I thought would happen eventually :/ she's been an incredible eater ever since she was hatched which is quite the blessing!! She'll be 3 this summer. But last winter she dropped feeding for around 3 months. She was fine just winter stuff I suppose! And this year she's done it again but did eat a few weeks back only to drop off again. But I will see if every 10 days will help her to return to her regular schedule!
